IMO...Not anytime soon.
They might have come out of this freight purge a little bit leaner and meaner.
I know we’ve actually dropped crap freight before we even raised any rates to price them out.
Although running on low man power imo will backfire if not already and local management will be back to their old habits.
Running empty miles will pretty much lose out to contractors. It’s a sticking point UPS has made since unionizing.
I’ve been working 12 plus OT hours a week since my barn stabilized. Our last 10% came back after 3 weeks off. (He was monitarily helped by our awesome local during that time)
