Yellow | Union Brother gets our Road Steward Fired@241

241 drivers via thought 682 from 411 back to 241 don't know how they do it.it takes me 8.5 to 9 hrs to do 682 to 241 running the routes.you have 200 miles of 50mph or less I set the average speed never got more then a 51 mph on the total trip.??????????

this guy from fed ex seems like the norm today. the guys from 241 come through my terminal all the time asking to go on to get that extra mile. their excuse was that work was slow and they need the mileage. but you know what the extra board guys from my terminal do this too. excuse the same.
now the company wants us all to pack a three day bag.

This guy is violating the contract and breaking down working conditions
Article 26 section 1 covers the sign in -sign out part of the equation.

The contract says that the union can file a grievance ( Article 7 section 1) The steward is the union. When a driver arrives at his destination and he is in violation of the 11/14 rule, the extra board has a run-around as soon as the A-HOLE driver clocks out on his next dispatch because the A-HOLE driver is not suppose to be there in the first place

in the old days and that is not long ago we would pass the hat at least once a year to cover the stewards expenses as far as gas etc. seem like this steward could use it NOW! have the drivers at 241 helped this steward out yet??? let us know what is going on at 241
 
we have guys on the xtra board that live a few miles from the yard come in early.get there truck numbers,get theire trucks ready before clock out time,talk whith the dispatchers(suck up),clock out and leave .run 630 miles without stoping just to clip 2 or 3 drivers ahead of them.

theres a few of us who have donated to his cause.
 
when the black boxes get put in the trucks the cheating will stop.it be like the old days with a tack in all trucks.or ups with there computer cards.

The Little Suckie Is At It Again!!!!!

Today this piece of work was dispatched to home via akron. he got to akron and sucked a dispatch out of them and went to stroudsburg. basically some one at akron or stroudsburg wont get out today. somebody needs to let the stewards know so they can watch for him.:Poke:

Hey there EDGEFAN you and i are from the same barn. you know as well i do this kid is areal piece of crap. while your sitting at home waiting for your work call hes running a run that could get you out of the house. like when he comes back from winston and sucks a cool down outta dispatch. because hes not happy with a 9 hr run. hes part of the reason You will never get a good run if your near him on the board. finding out where hes at is easy...he has a very big mouth and he lies alot every word out of his mouth is a lie. if your friends with him, i suggest you get a new friend. finding out who you are was easy. knowing what he does is easy, all you have to do is listen when the other drivers talk.......just listen

Some day Gopher,
when there is computerised dispatch, ( no favorites )
and " black boxes" ,( no lying on logs)
and "newbies", don't come to the job with 2 years experience acting like they should have 25 yrs.
THEN IT WILL BE JUST ABOUT TIME FOR MY RETIREMENT

So, when are you guys going to stop crying about this guy and actually get your local involved to take care of him. Ranting about it online isn't going to do a damn thing. You guys need to sit down with your steward and BA and figure something out.
 
i don't think they can do anything about this guy

i've seen this before. all the guy has to do is get an attorney and bring suit against the union claiming he is being denied the right to work if they push any action. he hangs a lawsuit against the local and gets rich doing nothing and laughs all the way to the bank while the members get asessed and pay higher dues. don't forget its ohio and ohio is labor unfriendly to this point.
