FedEx Freight | FedEx Corp. Reports Second Quarter Results (Bonus Numbers)

Fedex still has all of their info. How do you think they get a W2 at the end of the year. I personally know someone who got a bonus after leaving the company. It was mailed to them as a check. I would say yes.......

Since the AIC (incentive bonus) is a benefit designed to encourage participation, they should receive the portion "earned" during the reporting period.

Seems fair, since new hires receive a check based on their hire date, regardless of their actual contribution to operations.

The more important question/concern I have is... Why is the payout 2.16% and not the (minimum) 2.17% that the the publicly released numbers would indicate? The guidelines are pretty clear.

Not worth digging into it over .01% ($5 per $50k earned), but still, the question remains. Just sayin'

We have what, 19 thousand drivers? What would the average be? $25k - 60k for the bonus check?

So.... 42k x 19k = 798 million dollars.

.01 percent of 798 million is $7,980,000.

So I disagree that it is an insignificant number not worth addressing. That’s a huge number that was earmarked for employee bonuses. All those numbers are conservative. The actual deviance from their published numbers and our ENTIRE workforce is much higher!

Maybe we can funnel that money to Peloton for more platooning stunts.

No wait? What? Daimler says there is no practical business application for Platooning and will go straight from Level 2 to Level 4 autonomous trucks? (No human driving interactions at all) Send them the windfall STAT! Fred needs to see the real profits before retirement!!!!

we are lied too daily.

W2 is a little different from being on payroll. Hard to believe but if you say so.....
This from the “LIAR” that lost the bet, and yet you are still on here spouting your nonsense. What I posted is a fact. I really don’t give a ::shit:: if you believe it or not. You lost all credibility a long time ago.

Just curious, how would the class would like to address this one?

Perhaps the office of CFO, Claude Russ, might be willing to provide an explanation. I know his predecessor, Don Brown was never responsive to any attempt to contact.

President and CEO John Smith's office might be far more likely to reply. Always have in the past.

The suggested contact for Corporate Comm. Video topics is fxfmedia (at) fedex (dot) com

Another option would be the FedEx Alert Line https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/46351/index.html

This would fall under Accounting/Finance and is worthy of an explanation. Wonder who would be tasked with the reply?

$3 - $6 per person makes it more about the principal than the money.

Class?

Hell Bro, don’t ask me, I suck at math. But seriously, could simply be a typo or oversight

I’ve worked for a few companies that “banked” on that!

Our site:

https://about.van.fedex.com/our-story/company-structure/freight-fact-sheet/

Claims 45,000 employees. Are 30,000 of those hourly who each would have received those 5 or so dollars?

That’s a cool $150,000!

But, we’ve entered some very murky waters after the official word was the formula would be changing...
