I didn't here Ernie say anything about running down to the hall for a strike vote if this offer is turned down This sounds like a one time take it or leave it offer Just because ABF got to take a strike vote does not mean it will be the same way at YRCW The IBT makes the call to have a strike vote not the drivers

Most of us that were there up until 19 are or were wondering how they stayed out of bankruptcy for this long.
Seriously. I will never understand how or.why.
And to speak (write) the truth. In the back of my mind I am kind of believing that the doors will close. The checks will stop. And alot of people will be unemployed if this is voted down.
I only have a high school education Couple years of community college. But that's not much help.
I do have common sense. And gut feelings. They are usually right even if I go against those feelings.


OK Thrones is coming on. Time to go get prepared for some fake violence and sex!

Don't know for sure but I have heard more than once that Estes in the event of a lay off that they lay off the top senior men and work the newbies because they don't get paid as the top guys . Can any one clarify this ? (This was mentioned about starting over at a new company Big R Guy .)
 
Lots of new people posting with all kinds of facts this way or that way.
I wonder how many are supers or managment or people hired to post.
I would not put that past the company or union to hire people to post facts or assumptions.
All I can say is read the contract And vote.
Be informed and vote.
Once all this dies down all these new people will be gone..

If you guys vote no I see them putting the driver facing cameras to save money. Kinda give you guys the F U. If ABF is putting them in I’m sure YRC is looking at that discount.

We were told basically the same thing at our meeting. YRC is going to have to grow at least 5% each year of the contract or they probably wont make it with the added cost of this contract.

There are still people that believe we weren't going to close the last time.
I still remember many of the know it all at C.F. saying the government wouldn't let them close.
I'm done fighting it. If the dummies that are saying close the gates outnumber the dummies wanting it to stay open..so be it.
I got 75k to spend before I touch my 401k.
