XPO | No More Performance Meetings?

My terminal hasn't had a quarterly performance meeting/video since October. I'm assuming it's the same elsewhere. What's going on?
The same thing that's been going on: Con-way is gone...XPO Logistics is installing their people , culture , pay , and way of doing business.

1.) The less you know , the more upper management can get away with...less communication is better...if you want to know something , we'll tell you...maybe

The only answer i can give you is there is no preformance around here to show. Between the sub service carriers that cant speak english or find the exit gate. Or the dock workers that we just hired away from dunkin donuts that we have to train then dont show up. Or the students that we plant grow then harvest. So they the student can tell us guys that have been here for years how to do our job what were doing wrong and whine when things dont go exactly there way. Oh now lets talk about management the supervisors we hire come from Dominos pizza and i have a better one the last supervisor we hired came from subway. ya subway. This place is a joke. Who ever disagrees is clueless.
 
Their silence worries me. They know we talk, yet no attempt at damage control or spin.

It's an issue. Coming from Con-way. Where they would at least tell us something. Make the attempt. The message sent loud and clear is that we aren't worth their time to bother. And at first. We would hear all these things straight from Jacobs on these appearances. But now we hear he is in hiding trying to keep himself out of jail. That he broke the rich boys club rules. Stole Bezos' boy out from under him. Played some part in his wife leaving him. And Bezos counter attacked by funding or instigating the short attack on XPO. The rumor mill on that spat is completely out of control.

Nothing like billionaires acting like kids on the school yard with literally hundreds of thousands of jobs on the hook from whatever the result. I bet before social media and the internet of things. They all did this sort of stuff. The mega wealthy. There just wasn't any way available to hear of it.
 
This would be great if it was gotten rid of. I think a flyer would suffice. No more showing up an hour early for a twenty minute meeting, then sit around another forty minutes waiting for loads. If they had some coffee and donuts, it would lessen the impact. Yup, no dock money for you while you wait.

That’s bad business expecting you to come in for a meeting and not paying you after it ends. My outbound FOS knows that if you want me in to dispatch on time, I’m going to be on the clock if my loads aren’t ready. Same for meetings. Not everyone at my barn feels that way, but if I’m at work, I’m working.
 
CWX used to mail a magazine home that told us what was going on in the company and that also recognized service awards and length of service anniversaries. We also used to have mandatory communication meetings every Monday with the SCM to discuss what was going on with the terminal. CWX was an awesome company.
