I myself haven't fully made my mind up on how I'm going to Vote but I'm sure looking at the Pros and Cons of A No Vote will help 1st off
Cons:
1. Give up 20 to 30 and some More of seniority to go to the bottom of somebody's roster starting over having to work under another new guy younger than our children
2. Having to work a full year just to finally get 1 week of vacation
3. Trying to beat the rush and waiting in line to hopefully get on at a company that surely won't take enough of us to make putting our own job out of business
4. Climbing the pay progression scale Again just to finally 4 years from now getting a dollar or 2 more than what is being proposed
5. Definitely destroying what piece of a Pension we have left of trying to somehow find a solution to fix, turbo speeding to insolvency
6. The stress and sure hardship of 30000 families suddenly out of a job and we have to face the fact that many are unhireable, stress test, unhealthy, age discrimination(won't be able to prove it BUT)
7. Union discrimination (Protection of Non Union Status) won't be able to prove it But
8. Just the fact of giving the ones that don't want to compete with us the satisfaction of seeing us out of work, many of em come on out thread to troll every time we have a vote
9. Every one of us just take a second and think, is it really so bad here that now is the time to end our careers as we know it fighting for a few more cents which Our Union, Not the company says they don't have
10. Turning Down The Largest Raise in LTL History
No other LTL carrier has secured a $4 raise and A Week of Vacation on day 1

Now let me think of some Pros of voting no so I can make my decision
Anyone else have Pros of voting No

You are clueless. Just yesterday yrc announced they want to rid themselves of high volume national accounts that don't pay all that well and focus on mid sized business shipping. Your agreeing to 15 years of pension rate. That's half the 30 years some put in. Now they get that pension check and its 30% less than what they expected 15 years ago. Meanwhile Hawkins and the rest of train crashers at overland park are parachuting out with half million dollar salaries and millions in stock options. Your feeding the bs that's being put out by the lazy ibt. If yrc is that financially stressed where is the sec filing to indicate this ? If I were a vendor and seen that statement I'd put yrc on cash only. It's not your fault that thousands of employees left after the merger. It is our fault we destroyed millions in freight damages but not our fault when yrc decides to starve an area so the customers leave. Stop buying into the bs. Get the pension fixed and get our wages on par with everyone else. Give us a 401k with a match or the full rate. Stop accepting substandard wages, equipment and work conditions.

Point is for everybody to VOTE period and it doesn't matter how you vote yes or no , just "VOTE" :6788:
Much Respect Wong
For over a year we have been constantly inundated with pay the rate or lock the gate, Vote No Vote No, shut the doors and a lot of similar chants, with all due respect, more than half of us dont want to shut the doors, we all want better, nevertheless to be discussed later and
Definitely We All Need To Vote
keep pushing the vote

Your last sentence has me wondering why you have accepted those conditions yourself for the last ten years? Too scared to leave for a "better" job? Just curious.

Just stating a point of view from some of our other coworkers who dont wear the shut the doors shirts and come on the forums everyday saying Vote No Vote No, We are still Union and I respect the input and investigations from the International and the Halls, results say that we got in this deal all the company could afford

Ever hear the saying there is an ass for every seat!!!!!

Ever hear the saying there is an ass for every seat!!!!!
Never have but I see suggesting YRC stay in business strikes a nerve with more than a few
Some will Listen to You All
Some refuse to force the reality of "We wish The Best For Yall" "My Job is Hiring" then being removed from the Board like NEMF
Take Care

I won’t unload a half pup for the pension stealing SOB’s. If there’s a hazmat drum on the trailer underground Teamsters are clearing the dock. Fork freight Friday.

Back in the 82 when Spector folded, Union said less than 10% will find a comparable Union job, and they were right, much more difficult now !!! Saying NO is hard , retired now , I can still feel that sickening thought of applying again for another Union job. I went through 4 companies and left with 41 Teamster years, I was fortunate, most weren’t.

It’s not all about money to everyone, some have issues with certain work rule changes that effect them.
The current contribution going into a 401k instead of a insolvent pension fund doesn’t cost the somoany more.

I agree
I guess my mindset was set on if our representation was right, I personally still have love and respect for The Union, it's hard for me to turn my back on and Definitely talk down on what I've been proud of and who has had my back for all of my adult life, my main point in every post I've made, since posting on the forums( may have gone the wrong way getting my point across at times but) I believe in the union, what it represents, and what the representation said about the contract
I stopped disagreeing and started looking at the point of view as well of those that have a different point of view but plain and simple
I believe my representation and I'm not turning my back because the last couple of contracts(economy recession Zollars induced in my opinion) haven't been let's say Ideal
I also believe in living to fight another day and being careful in choosing which hill to die on
