Of All the LTL freight companies in History
Not 1 has secured a $4 raise and A Week of Vacation (On Day 1)
No it's not Billions more put into an insolvent Pension
Might not be $11 or $12 over the contract
May not even include Ground Hogs Day off but the Largest Raise in LTL History is a step in the right direction to keep over 30000 people employed to support their families
No one is gonna get every single thing we want Right Now but is it worth being at the bottom of somebody's roster having to work a full year to get a week of vacation
Climbing the pay progression scale
Under coworkers our children age in seniority
Many many other points we all can think of

No need to be nasty I know you're upset but you're on here trying to sell everybody a bill of goods And as far as the troll thing I make no bones about who I work for You've never come in it on anybody else's board but your own I find that hard to believe so you might be a troll also

Don't find it hard to believe that somebody minds their own business
You should try it

I don't know where you got the idea that I'm bound plane your contract because it is Seriou's business but I'm guessing new penn and Holland together won't hold the vote that YRC will carry to vote this in And as far as the troll thing you realize this is an open forum right genius

You do realize that you're not getting a week's vacation with this contract!!! Only vacations that are being restored are those that were taken from the Sr employee's back when the MOU's were voted in.

I lost my 5th week, but thanks for the heads up, many of us lost so much for so long, just good to finally get something back at least moving towards the right direction
Take Care

Who else in LTL has given up more???
NEMF just recently And Can ANYBODY Post That LONG List of carriers that No Longer exist
They all Have up more, more than half of us want to keep our jobs and not go through the same
RED Ball
TransCon
Merchants
NationsWay
CF
NEMF
Many more My Brother
No need to join the pack when we're at least moving in the right direction and you have to admit, significant moves in the right direction
All we want? No
But name a contract where EVERYBODY got Everything they wanted
Not possible but Thanks for your input
Take Care

I don't think any of the ones mentioned gave up billions in concessions. Before their demise. As far as CF is concerned Conway was the end for them. I don't believe that despite what is said in negotiations that HNRY logistics is nothing more than they claim. People stay and work for YRC or one of the regionals by choice. And some chose to leave. Good luck to all of of you.

Understood
You're right, concessions were never an option they just closed the doors
Guarantee you for a couple of dollars less in pay for a while many would have kept their seniority and the pension wouldn't be in the mess it is now
Many could have been retired by now
