ODFL | Layoffs

Check your facts Billy.. only about 10 or 12 this weekend. Was going to but someone crolled of the line guys name. Not a smart move in my opinion. That might cause guys not to work now.

Maybe Kenneth can confirm, I'm hearing word that GBO may have officially laid some off. Rumor is some p&d were offered dock and dock workers laid off.
:1036316054: But,OD doesn't layoff :poster oops: I hear there will be other Terminal's Trimming back over the next few week's.Just Driver Talk..

They took over the house and like predicted things would slow down
We’re on a 10 + year bull maket, things will eventually slow. Anyone with half a brain in their head knows this has nothing to do with republicans or democrats.

Go ahead and explain, in detail, how the Democrats taking over the house had even the slightest thing to do with freight being slow. Cmon. I want to hear it. Prove you’re not a complete imbecile.

I’m sorry to hear that. It’s slow all over I’ve been told. Gotta let them extra board boy’s make some money. Years ago I only ran 2 to 3 runs a week. It was tough. By the way has the city runs been affected?

We can run our 6th day in Indy and dock workers can get 60hrs. We've grown 4% from the same time last year. That's according to mgmt and they said freight was starting to pick back up. I know when I got back today zone 13 which is our inbound freight was 3/4 full and relay zones 2, 3 and 4 were almost full. I pulled 2 loads out of zone 10 last night which is our closed loads and it was full. I know certain lanes out of Indy have been pretty slow the past few weeks but it does seem to be picking up.
