I thought what I had heard was the corporate guideline for 68 mph was supposed to be 580 with multiple stops or 600+ and the guidelines for 70 mph was 625 +? We've got some runs over 580 with three stops that are not turned up. These slow trucks during all the 80 mph holiday traffic is giving me PTSD jk

This company is like swift jr last thing we need is to give these docktard grads faster trucks to crash

In Indy the guidelines are "supposed" to be...
600-624=68mph
625 and above=70mph
Not trying to start anything Gomer, but I would really like to meet the genius that came up with that formula..
620 miles, you get a 68 mph truck
626 miles, you get a 70 mph truck
Especially when who is to say that every driver will drive that fast, or just be content with 65mph?

We were told corporate!

Ok, they've obviously changed it some because at 1 point over 600 was getting 70 before they cut them to 68. I was just looking to see if it was been handled the same everywhere because we always hear mixed answers of well it's corporate well it's terminal manager well its the shop blah blah blah looks like it's being handled the same everywhere. And it's the same here we have a newer group of drivers that every chance they get steal a turned up one when no one else is in the seat, guess they are entitled. all I know is in my first handful of years I didn't have the balls to do that.

It pisses me off when an extra board driver steals my truck. We even had scheduled drivers stealing other schedules tractors. Some drivers here had assigned 68moh tractors and would steal a 70mph truck. It got ridiculous. They've finally started assigning tractors to the extra board when they come in for their run that day.

Assigned trucks. What a concept. The line drivers just barely have their trucks assigned.City No.And with all the shuffling of trucks it's a mess here in SAC.

Yeah that’s a pretty big turnoff for me personally. An assigned truck is a pretty big deal to me. OD must be really good in all other aspects for them to be loved so much if barely anyone has an assigned truck. #justsaying

In my opinion, it depends on what terminal you’re from. At mine, we all have assigned tractors, even the wild board. Not saying that it might be used by a weekend warrior or P&D depending on your schedule.

Definitely haven't seen this where I am. OD and Holland are the only ones I pass...lol. XPO and UPS sure have turned up as they blow my doors off. YRC...are they even in business? I haven't seen one if their sets in...cant even remember.
