Ahh, that explains it. I am out of ATL too... seems like the whole place has gone to hell since the new TM took over. Thought he was supposed to be an improvement.

As far as layoffs I haven’t heard a thing so I guess we haven’t laid anyone off.

Slow out in the PNW too. Infact, not only did we cut 3 runs tonight but, one run was cut short out of PDX going to the Dalles Or. That driver went right back home. Funny thing, I only say 1 XPO tonight, 2 ABF, 2 R&L ( one was a team) and a couple of local LTL guys. Really slow out here for everyone right now even my friends in a TRUCKLOAD job.
Economy still going strong, 3.2% growth 1st quarter
Sure wouldn’t know that working here,, just telling my wife we must be for a rescission,, what kind of management we got just letting this company lay off all these dedicated people now
Profits before people, any company that did care either got bought out by a bigger company or the company got to big & only cares about the investors....

Just wait and see. Ltl freight is the first indicating factor. Could it be jumping the gun? Yes. Could it be happening and the numbers just not caught up yet? Yes.
Yes, sooner or later a recession will happen, do not see one anytime soon, tariffs are hurting right now, once deal is worked out (hopefully soon) LTL will pick up, short term pain for long term gain
I just hope it's a recession and not a depression.
A ton of ex FedEx top to bottom, because what we did right to get us to the top wasn't good enough, brought them into screw up the whole system.
You know better Billy, OD is no different than any other place when it comes to the bottom line. We are just a number blocking more profits....
Its scary slow........ I'm jumping up and down for joy if I get 4 days. Heard Ogden may be going to 4 day work weeks, imagine if that works SLC would try it? I've been in LTL for many many years and this year I have a pit in my stomach when ever I think about how slow we are.
Some of them big strappers would have a tough tome adjusting
