No. I will put my money on you have looked into other LTL jobs, and are afraid to admit that with having to start over, and the less pay and benefits, in realityofitall, is that YRC is not as bad a job as you are trying to persuade others into believing....

YRC isn't a bad job but what kind of a future does a younger person have there. A few guys that worked with me at NEMF went to New Penn. Their only working part time basically cause their not clearing the board. I believe this contract was probably the best that could have been achieved. The real shame is all the people that will most likely be let go as YRC cuts staffing levels for their newly gained operational effeciences.

What are The gained operational efficiencies? I never really saw much change as far as work rules? I had read the CFO talking about utilitie drivers, but saw nothing more about it.

I'm referring to the merging of companies. It's implied by others here that it's coming. It really only makes sense in the long run.

You haven't even probably looked at what other LTL jobs offer, cause you are afraid of going to a non union company. The union is a joke, because of people like you! You should be ashamed! Even if YRC did fold, you really don't think you good get the same pay or better somewhere else? You don't realize how much Class A drivers are in demand? You are at the helm, quit being afraid to start over and grow some cahones and make a change. Have fun going nowhere, by the time this contract is up you will be homeless sleeping in an empty YRC trailer!
 
I don’t see YRC merging all into one. It might happen merging New Penn and Holland, along with maybe Reddway That might be why they wanted purchased transportation for Holland to move freight between Holland and Reddway if they would merge.
