Here's the comment from Hawkins in the 1st qtr 2019 earnings announcement today...

"At the very core of our 2019 strategy is network optimization. The initiative has multiple layers – with the primary objectives of enhancing service, creating opportunities for productivity improvements, and streamlining our cost structure as we seek to eliminate inefficiencies across the network, providing the potential for revenue growth and margin expansion," said Hawkins.

Hang on for a bumpy ride in 2019!

We can't get all the ex Yellow and Roadway stuff under one name and he's going re-badge the Reimer stuff............................:biglaugh:
I saw a guy doing a city run in New Jersey today, He was driving an old YELLOW sterling and pulling an old ROADWAY trailer.
Only thing missing was a New Penn or Holland guy driving it.

Well, Donna did use a Moldovanian accent while discussing the deal. But Mueller left it out of the report cuz he doesn’t know where Moldovania is......
Donna speaks 6 languages so she can communicate with Coop drivers from Moldavia,Poland,Russia,India, Serbia, and California.....

well why not . they sure ruined that company . i remember 2-3 loads coming into stroudsburg like clockwork nightly . they were there to pick up out canada freight . they had all the paper work and were ready to fly .before we started with Reimer we had dozens of loads setting at boarder patrol for weeks at a time .
then the merge and we start using reimer vans to wherever we decided we needed them . being a dock worker it would of been nice to of know when you can load to or not but thats typical yrc
