There won't be a bailout coming are you sure about that Central States will go bankrupt right around 2024 presidential election it will be a issue? Some of proposals I read about talked about some kind of government loan but participating companies would have to pay full contributions all I'm asking is who is going to pay that if it goes through?
The only proposal the Senate Joint Committee on MEPRAs came close to passing, was a bailout of the PBGF, and not one of any Pension.

The Butch Lewis Act had 22 Senators supporting it (need 60), and 158 Representatives supporting it (need 219).

Once again these politicians are going to look like they’re going to try to fix the pension problem. They will once again look like they’re re going to do something just to get the union vote, then just abandon it like Sherrod Brown and the other dems did before.

When you look at the competition, specifically ODFL who now operates with an or of 82, and is worth 12.5 billion which is more than twice what YRC brought in the front door in 2018 as a whole. How do you expect YRC to recapture the lost freight that is now on the back of our competition ? Where will YRC pull out an additonal $250 million a year in profit ? Nearly 4 million a week in additional revenue.. We cant seem to find anyone that wants to work for us, our equipment is beyond wore out in most places and yet with today being the vote day most of you were only concerned with that week of vacation.
In my term when the merger happened we had 56 men on bid, we are now down to 19. We have lost an enormous amount of business to other carriers not just on price but on service and damages. Take a moment to read how awful our service is on our company facebook page. Until the company takes the bull by the horns and works on a plan to right the ship, we are going to be a 3rd of 4th rate carrier of least resort.

Hopefully you voted and may the vote go the way you wanted it to.
Welcome to the wonderful world of yellow which hasn’t been a trucking company sence the 80’s they bought company’s ***** them than shut them down it goes back icl they have ruined countless of life’s through the decades just to stay in business closed many companies and ya the writing on the wall this company is not going to Survive

Do you realize YRCW has no control over pension, if they paid in full amount it is still toast. Ain’t coming back.
You should have started 401 when offered.
Yes... and not allowing ups to buy out of it. I still wonder where all that money went.
yes they bought out yrc owes right now 1.3 billion to it when it goes into receivership the government will want its money hell there suing us over rewreight freight I’m sure they will go after what we owe the fund bye bye yellow. Yrc

With all the numbers on debt owed and this and that speculation is anyone working there?
As long as my checked showed up after my working the week anything beyond that was out of my control. I had other stuff to worry about than company debt and what they did with their money.. Like I said. Nothing I could do but my job.
Debt or no debt. Apparently they made enough money to pay all the employees.
When the paycheck stops then you'll know the future of yrc. Just another LTL footnote. If. That happens. Or. When that happens.
Hockey to watch. Shouldn't even be on this side. But I got an "alert"!
Back to the sports section.

Also, if it wasn't for weather this would be a highly profitable company! Don't believe me? Go back and look at the quarterly earnings transcripts. As soon as we get this under control the sky is the limit! Wait a minute, the sky is the problem :heykoolaid:

When you see them taking fuel out of one truck to put in another, get worried. Until then just do your job. If it happens there is nothing you or I can do about it anyway.

Lets hope this is not a bad omen, the last month, PIE operated, they didn't have enough credit to purchase a load
of fuel, they did the very same thing.
Lets hope YRC has a different motive.
