I am sorry you don't get and you don't remember what the original concessions were. I didn't state our contact is better. So your telling me you don't deserve what you had back in 2008 after 10 years of concessions? Then was is the point of the union when you are just accepting what the company throws out there the first time? And yes I was sticking around for this contract to see how it went, thinking that YRC might have it together after 10 years but apparently not. Call me a troll, I call it how I see it! Please feel free to explain what you think the original concessions were and what the company promised to give back after the concessions.
I'm telling you the money isn’t there to give it all back. The company didn’t throw anything out there the first time.
The union walked out of negotiations, extended the negotiations and came back telling us they got every penny they could get with the company having a chance at survival.
They, not the company, the unions own economic advisory panel projected a closing as early as Memorial Day with a IBT strike authorization vote.
They believed enough customers would pull their freight from us that with accounts payable it would do them in.
Every one of us can go to another job.We are grown men,not scared but content with our employment.
Those that aren’t are chicken t for staying and being miserable. If they are staying for age or medical then they should be extremely thankful.
No one wants to listen to grown men bitching and whining about there job constantly.
Be a man and leave the mother ****er if they don’t like it..even if it is a worse job.
If I thought as bad as some of these posters about my job I swear I would go to a $ 12.00 warehouse job.Any sane man would..who chooses to remain in misery?
