for those of you not sure of what that is, it's a card my state requires to purchase hand guns. i honestly do not know, if the "blue card" is all across the country under that, or a different name/color, etc.

i ain't even opened the book yet, that i picked up this morning, i got time, unless my state passes some sort of insane law that is....

when i did a google check on the 1911,(saw an article on my home page) a company named CZ kept coming up...i have checked only for the 1911, apparently Smith & Wesson make a darned good one.>??

but it is pricey.

anyone ever hear of....https://cz-usa.com/

that brand..???

thanks in advance

In N C, if you have a concealed carry permit, you need nothing else to purchase a handgun.
Two nice S&Ws, revolver is the victory model, I bought it in 1956, mfg. between 1942 and 44, don't know why
it was called victory model, at that time the war had not ended.
Other is S&W , M&P Shield 9mm, I have another .40 cal. same model.
Revolver is 38 special.

yeah, in my state there is just too much BS to go thru for a CC permit. it's supposed to be a "shall permit", to i think what is called a "might permit", something like that.

it has to go thru the attorney generals office, and the police cheif of your city or town......denials are more so common than approvals.

have to demonstrate a need to CC, nothing like, "cuz i wanna be safe"

Here in our little corrupt town in NC, if the Sheriff doesn't like your political history, you can forget a permit to buy a gun.

wow.....that's some sort of civil rights infringment, or is it..??
It is, but the democrats in this hole in wall town don't care, as long as their guy gets elected. He ran as a Republican, won by a landslide, and then turned out to be a RINO.

In my state all you need is a F.O.I. card and state ID you can also apply for conceal and carry permit but I understand it can be difficult if you were ever on the negative side of the law

i just looked up FOI...about the same as the blue card here.

and they are strict in my state in all the above since the Scalia shooting a few years ago.they ramped up the background check
yeah, here, once you get that blue card (so you can legally buy hand guns) there is a 7 day waiting period while they check you out.

it is way easier to buy rifles and shotguns, just walk in, show your ID, (gotta be legal age) done deal....

Pro1,

Just tell 'em you want a Pistola to shoot CANS yet don't mention the next bit:
AfriCANS, MexiCANS, Puerto RiCANS, some AmeriCANS as well CANadianS.

Your "Political Party", Religion and Sexual Identity (other than Male or Female) are irrelevant.

Last time I applied for a "handgun permit" was 1995 or so. I didn't use it.

I bought a Pistol, STAR .45 ACP, from a Owner Operator chap in 2002 and the next year a National Park Officer on the Blue Ridge Parkway ran it through a check and it came back clean. I needed no "permit" to buy or possess it.
