Just pulling your leg Bigdaddy, I have no idea, these working guys say it' many years before you get a daylight bid.

The biggest terminal in NC is CLT and you cant even transfer there as a road driver because theres currently a waiting list of guys from city that want to go over. But the only good thing about CLT is that in the next year or 2 there will definitely be another center opening. At least they say so... I guess the only other decent one would be Greensboro

When it comes to cost effectiveness, HKY must be at the top of any list. They are at a GPD level C, with low cost of living and perhaps the highest wage vs the local competition.

For any chance to run day runs I would pick CLT or GBO. Those are the hubs in NC. Keep in mind you will have to start in the city and wait for a road position to open up. They have hired a bunch of road drivers in the past 2 years so it may be a while.

Any one knows what the average road driver makes around the Charlotte or Greensboro area . Are the night or day runs decent mileage or they short runs

The chances of transferring in as a road driver are slim. Both terminals have a mix of day and night runs, some short some long. Best bet is to transfer to city and wait on road position to open up. Hope that helps.
