Yellow | 30 Day Lapse On Retro Pay

Reminds me, years ago, maintenance dept. sends out a letter stating they have calculated each trip with a slide rule and will only fuel the required amount and not top off the tanks.
Later, an Atlanta driver calls in, says he's out of fuel, dispatcher asks "where are you?"
"Hell, I don't know, ask that damn slide rule"
looks good on paper

Check with them? Just look in the employee manual they gave you when you started working for them. :smile new:
Thanks for info and yes it was in there on page 15 , paragraph 15 , Quote it says you will be paid interest only if you have worked over 15% of the year in the last 15 years !! So Cha- Ching :guinesssmilie::guiness:

Where's my 15% retro pay? Its a shame dockworkers in 1989 made 11hr and now that's what part timers make now 30 yrs later.

Contract was officially ratified 5/14.

That means the company has 30 days from that date to make you whole.

You will receive your raise on your next check, dated 5/31, per payroll department.

I have no official notification on how retro pay will be issued, but suspect it will be a one time addition on your check on 6/14 or 6/21. The cost of issuing a separate check is, imho, cost prohibitive.

I just found out partner, that all the back pay will be paid at the casual dock rate, in equal payments, over the rest of 2019. So the taxes won’t hit you so hard. That came straight from your nephew, Jamie...

My retro pay slip since my last day of work was May 3rd.
I was paid both my 6th week of vacation and back pay added on to my regular paycheck under "vacation in lieu dollars."

In 1987, as a casual dockworker at Roadway, I made $12/hour. I was rolling in money. :-)
Yep, it's been a race to the bottom.
