Its was just that way the first year or 2 when the def first came out. Those problems have been fixed. Dove for a company prior that had a fleet of million mile plus volvos

Offend, what we do best!On first reading, I was offended... :-D
If it got to that point you or your shop missed a lot of signs that there was a problem. Also the problem was still related to emission issues early in the design with ULSD and bio.Had nothing to do with DEF. Everything to do with injector cups. They kept cracking, leaking coolant into cylinders which destroys the rings.
The truck kept going to the dealership. They kept blaming the designer. If it got to that point you or your shop missed a lot of signs that there was a problem. Also the problem was still related to emission issues early in the design with ULSD and bio.
TUP has one.Has any SC or hub received this new model yet?
YRC has many rolling in the midwest.
PACCAR quality??? Now that's funny!!I recommend giving the LT a chance, guys. Despite not looking much more than superficially different from the ProStar they are much nicer trucks.
TFI deployed a whole bunch of them to the TL carriers they own, Highland just got theirs in last month. Company drivers say they're way better than the old ProStars. I've not driven one, but I did check one out, and I could definitely see the difference.
Don't knock it till you try it. The LT has won awards for quality that usually go to PACCAR.
The driver gets to pick whether they want a city unit or a road unit.Is it a new true city truck or a new road truck given to the city driver as a trophy truck? Reason for asking is we’ve got several city guys with trophy trucks and they’re all new road tractors.
I pretty certain we no longer have that option either. City drivers get city award trucks. Was changed within the last few months. So, the only options left are choice of leather or cloth seat, and whether or not you want your name on the door. The driver gets to pick whether they want a city unit or a road unit.
Injector cups were a known issue on those engines, and expensive to fix. Had nothing to do with fuel, had everything to do with faulty design. If it got to that point you or your shop missed a lot of signs that there was a problem.
