R&L | Word Is, Bye Peterbilt, Hello Freightliner

Ironicaly, guess we moved from Mack to Paccar and Cornbinders, now to Freightshakers and today I saw a Pitt Ohio Peterbilt, just like ours. They've been Mack for all the time I've known of them.

I guess since they’ve managed to totally gay up the truckin bidness with these polo shirts they givin us to wear, why not just finish the job?
Holy polyester Batman! Those shirts are horrible!

They irritate my sensitive hide!

What kind of dolt would order clingy polyester 70's leisure suit material shirts for a bunch of pot bellied drivers to cavort around in. I ordered 5x and mine make me look like a black and green kielbasa ! Don't they know stripes are slimming?

Just because you're finished doesn't mean she's satisfied.
Not my problem.... She’s got a bag full of toys I can use on her if she nice to me, otherwise she’s on her own. Either way I’m good. I’m walking a fine line before Mr. Killjoy steps in and gives me the boot. I may need to get back on the D.C. forum where men can be men and things aren’t so VANILLA.

I’d rather wear a mechanics’ uniform.

Here is a pic of the latest International LT

Just need a pot bellied driver standing next to it in black polo shirt to complete the image!
For that truck? OR a Turdliner Crapcadia for that matter?

Thems is the official trucks of the non-English speakin yahoo that wears track suits and shower shoes and acts like the world is his toilet.

And let’s don’t forget the dangerous white Volvo. I saw one the other day restin in its natural habitat on its side in the ditch while one of the aforementioned non-drivers was standin around in a daze wonderin what the hell just happened.

I'm hearing that R+L is now switching to junk. Apparently, Peterbilt cant supply enough trucks or parts and Freightliner came in way under Peterbilt in cost per unit. Cant say Im thrilled with this but I don't own the company.
I drive a New Pete Single axle. It had 500 on it when I was assign to it. I had a 2005 International Single axle for 11 years. I said man I am going to hate this Pete. This Pete is better then that 2005 ever was. This Pete I can feather into the dock. Where the other Pete's that are a year or two older are junk to drive in the City. The New Freightliners and Internationals are junk to drive in the city.

Well, it falls back on the Roberts family if ultimately they find it was a mistake. I’m just saying my experience with them weren’t that bad. You could always drop them a line and tell them you don’t approve.
Do you drive City or Line? Driving Line I will drive anything. In the city what I have seen with the Freightliners we have at our barn. I will not drive them. I would rather go home then deal with that jerking all day when backing up. And dealing with tight place to get into. The jerking is a pain in the ass. The International's are the same way. And the Pete's that are 2 or 3 years old are the same.

Pitt has brand new Mack’s, Freightliners and Pete’s , Sounds like testing phase. FedEx Freightfinder is buying Internationals now, said KW/Pete’s had too many issues.
My money says every company can get a handful of every manufacturer’s truck dirt cheap. Cut a deal hoping to get the fleet. Thus OD with a few KWs & Volvo’s. And UPS pkg drives everything ever made sans HME.

He's neither now. He retired.
