So othertrucker2001, what's a "transgender dump truck"?
What do you drive and is it a gender specific creation?

Oh Well.
CHEERS!!
Its is a 2007 Peterbuilt.
A transgender dump truck, is a dump truck, that when it was made originally, was a cement mixer truck, that someone took the mixing drum, water tanks, hydraulic chutes, water hoses, valves, slump gauges, pump used to turn the mixing drum, fenders, ladders, and all other parts used by a cement mixer truck, and put a dump bed, hydraulic ram lift, PTO, and anything else needed to create a dump truck, on that chassis, but forgot to remove all the signs and stickers, that tell you how to operate a mixer truck, such as the sign on the inside of the drivers door that says, DRUM MUST BE TURNING WHEN TRUCK IS OPERATIONAL ON THE HIGHWAY. Not to mention the 300 to 500 pounds of dried concrete we found underneath the truck, on the chassis and springs. Needless to say, my boss ain't happy with his Dads great internet find.

Now that's interesting, a "tranny truck"?

i hate squirrels....they tend to bury the chestnuts they get from my neighbors tree, in MY garden...

i get DOZENS of "F" ing saplings all over MY garden.......!!!

i wish all squirrels...... dead...dead....dead....

but by natural causes, like running over them when they cross the street.

but to dope up or get drunk, any animal (or rodent) is something i do not take with humor

this jerk has no real idea the harm a jacked up squirrel could have done IF that doesn't had any disease, especially rabbies.....!!!

No doubt this hopped up version would kick down your door and plant the chestnuts in with the houseplants.

well let me tell you this, about that..

the frigging squirrel(s) that have buried thier nuts in MY garden, ALSO plant thier frigging nuts in the plants in the FLOWER pots as well....

i'll find my daylilles, and ferns, and geraniums, and catalillies, mingling with frigging chestnut samplings.....damned rodents.....!!!

If you are in a place where you can not fire a rifle or shotgun the perfect solution is a GAMO Whisper pellet rifle. It comes with a decent scope. The rifle is quiet so neighbors will not know you are exterminating the pests. Squirrels will try to get in your house or out buildings. They are difficult to get out once they get in & start their destruction.

Now that's interesting, a "tranny truck"?
And it now has 17 injectors. Our crew put 2 new injectors in. Then replaced all six. Then bought 6 new injectors and installed. I suggested checking the wiring harnesses. Now, the local Freightliner dealer has it. They have put in 2 or 3 injectors. They said it had a bad intake valve. It didnt. Replaced several sensors. Batteries. Alternator. Now they are thinking it might, just maybe, be the wiring harnesses to one or more injectors.

How much does he pay his mechanic's ? I hope a lot and if so maybe I'll go back to wrenchin' seems what ever I did wouldn't hurt his bottom line.

Update: One of our mixer trucks died on a jobsite. Mechanic was sent to fix the problem. The driver was standing next to the truck, while the mechanic was fixing the truck. He told the driver to make sure the truck was in neutral AND the brakes set.(automatic transmission). Truck rolls back onto the drivers foot. Driver is sent to hospital. Mechanic is fired for not securing the truck. I asked my boss, What color chocks are on the service truck? "There aren't any". Who was the last person, to exit the truck. "Driver". How the hell can the mechanic secure the truck, if he doesn't have the means, and your driver is too stupid to follow direction? I'm still waiting on that last answer.

Bbs and even slingshots are outlawed down here, I have a Nitro Venom Crossman 22 pellet that does a nice quite job.
Our animal lovers here, have a wake and funeral, if you run over one of their tree rats.

I have seen several Series 60's harness' intermittently lose contact between the injector terminal & wire. It is possible to crimp & solder the terminal to the wire if a harness is not available. Like this one I have seen several injectors replaced that were not faulty.

hope your mechanic is all right, if I had been under the truck when it rolled back they would have fired me for "adjusting" the driver's head with a hammer, Our shop van's have all that stuff in them, chock blocks/cones/etc that they set up before even working on them on the road

Yep. Our service truck is supposed to have all that stuff as well. But my argument continued when my boss came back, trying to justify, firing the mechanic. After his attempt in swaying me to his way of thinking, I asked him, "Does your service truck carry reflective triangles, for emergencies"? DEAD SILENCE. "Do the emergency flashers on your service truck even work"? DEAD SILENCE. As he walked away, I noticed a small bald spot on the side of that hard head, that he kept reaching for.

He might regret firing the mechanic when he tries to find a replacement. That mechanic will have no problem finding another job since there is a shortage of qualified maintenance personnel. Every trucking company has openings for skilled workers whether it is dock, drivers or maintenance.
About 25 years ago a lower echelon management type told me the trucking industry's need for mechanics/technicians was coming to an end. He said everything on trucks was becoming maintenance free & electronically controlled.
I saw an attempt at maintenance free trucks back in the 80's. The company tried Detroit Diesel's 100K mile oil change idea where the oil filter was changed at 25K & oil was changed at 100K miles. It worked, the oil was changed at about 100K miles when the crankshaft & bearings were replaced.

Not an exactly new in the 80s, back in the 60s, we ran a few Cummins powered Whites with a device called
Winslow Oil conditioner, they never changed oil.
They would send an oil sample and Winslow told them when to clean the device.
Don't recall of any engine failures. ( not saying it didn't happen)
I've never heard anymore about this thing, if it worked, big oil companies bought them out.

There has been several devices similar to this over the years. I think one company was Sterno. ABF tried two in the early 70's on Cummins engines. I remember the oil looked bad but when the rods & mains were changed at around 300K which was the normal back then, they looked okay.
