Reddaway | Negotiations Start When?

I’M new to Reddaway but I’ve been union most of my life and one thing company are good at is crying poor at negotiation time. It’s a standard practice.

Hope Reddaway is the exception to this practice. During my shift of driving I cannot go 10 miles without seeing a Reddaway combination doing the same as I.

Brothers and sisters don't expect any Reddaway contract, very soon you guys will be renamed as YRC Freight employees on the new optimization network, in other words a merge is coming soon, some terminals will be consolidated into one others will still be open but zip codes will be realigned accordingly to the areas.
As some terminals may know, all employees we're told last week to turn in all uniforms by next week. Stay tuned for more information, some is already on the SEC filings filed on May 20.

That would be a shame, YRCF can't find their behinds with both hands. I really don't understand why any merger has to be towards YRCF, it should be towards the cost efficient and or profitable direction.

I thought Hawkins was highly thought of at Reddaway before he headed over to save the day at YRC?

My point is that YRCF is incapable of servicing overnight and 2 day lanes. One of the big reasons that Zollars wanted USF is because they were moving into longer lanes and would have killed Yellow. So to my thinking, why does the "merging" have to go TO YRCF when the regionals have already proven that they can do both? Why does YRCF have to be the entity things "merge" to? It should be the other way around.

I think the "merge" to is HNRY, that way they can do anything they want and hide behide the new name? I don't have a crystal ball and I know better than try and guess what these people are going to do, but I would bet my last dollar that a year from now things will be very different with this company. If I knew what I might have to spend the rest of the day filling out applications so it is probably best I do not know and I can go get some good sleep so I can do this again tonight. Stay safe!

Sure seems like there’s a lot more “traffic” in the yrc forum, it’s like we don’t even exist over here, and we’re the company that’s actually making money..... this is weird, it’s ok though, I’m putting in my two weeks on Monday
This place is crazy, I wish all my brothers and sisters the best
