In Phoenix - city drivers no longer do check stops to regular customers and any time we go to make a pick up and the freight is not (available) for whatever reason our terminal manager sends them a bill for 180 dollars - alot of customers leaving already .

We’re doing it too. It’s costly to visit phantom pickups and cause legit customers to wait or be missed.

I have 1 check stop that gives us freight 4 out of 5 days. They always call if they don’t have freight.
As far as charging for no freight tendered stops, the worst offenders are the 3 pls. Send them a bill EVERY time for no freight. Especially CH Robinson
And a lot of time the 3rd party gives the same pickup to, 2 different carriers, so they guarantee the pickup is made. First one there gets the freight, second one no freight. I have said that for years. Third party should get a bill for no freights.

If they

He's part of the "underground", also known as the mole people, those diminutive rodent-like creatures who burrow in the dirt. Correct spelling/usage doesn't matter much to them. They think they're bad-azz, but they don't realize we laugh at them and their pretend antics.
