My Trip To The Outer Banks (obx)

looks like some nice weather never been to the outer banks. Have to put that on the "bucket list". Not to be nosey but what is that you have mounted in the windshield on left side? Maybe back up camera ?

it's a backup camera , it is a sony black and white but it came with the motorhome and its a 1999 Winnebago so it's big

Thanks my coachman 280ss class c has all my stuff mounted in the overhead. It's a 2015 Ford 450 chassis with the 7.3 diesel, not as big as yours but does what we need it to do

I am sure it rides better than mine... I had a 04 class c on a 450 chassis and it rode much smoother than this truck chassis under this ...

OBX will make you think you are not even in this country

Old # 12 has improved so much, I was over once when it was washed away between Avon and Buxton, unreal how quick they had a ferry running.
BTW, in 1961, you could buy ocean front for less than 1000 bucks. try it today.

Don't complain, when I first started fishing Hatteras, Alligator River, Oregon Inlet and another had ferries. (1952)
That's a bit before my time. But, I used to hit the Hatteras to Ocracoke ferry four mornings per week at 6:00 am with our 1995 IH daycab, pulling a 53 foot dry van. Make the rounds on Ocracoke, hit the ferry back to Hatteras, and peddle freight all the way back to Manteo, then joyous 2.5 hour ride (on a good day) back to Washington NC.

People that have not seen the area, have missed out on a treat.
We rode the Cedar Island to Ocracoke ferry and was rested and ready to fish on our trip from Charl to Hatteras.

Did you buy a new go-pro camera or did you think we never saw a bridge crossing water or a beach
