SAIA | Traffic Police

GPS on the drive-cam....MPH of the roadway your traveling. If the GPS says its a 35 MPH and your going 51 MPH or faster it will record just like incident.
We got a CMS that reads the signs.

Knowin what human filth inhabits the corporate office of Saia, they’ll probably have ya signin hate mail for when it reads the signs on a freeway frontage road or mistakes a route sign for a speed limit sign.

The word you were looking for is ….fired!
I was forthright about being fired from Overnite Joe so I really have no need to lie. Think what you want Joe because intimately I really don’t care. I know the truth along with all my friends and family. I retired. What you’re doing is typical of what you do and most who’ve been on here know what that is. :poke::argue: :stirthepot: ..... you’re so predictable!

White,
It appears you seem to think I was let go from SAIA... Honestly, overall SAIA treated me well and I wish now that I would have just walked away without the need to bash them. It’s all good when everyday is Friday.
But you just can’t help yourself. You’re getting a hell of a lot of whine from your sour grapes. And, in retirement, wouldn’t every day be Saturday? Most people work on Fridays. But that’s what we expect of you. Yap before think.

It’s the excitement of what Friday brings moron. Once you hit the clock on Friday to go home all is good in the world... but then comes Monday for some.

I did. But I was certainly prepared to accept responsibility for it when I knew there was the possibility that I would hear about it. That’s a risk you take
Correct answer. If you do the crime be prepared to do the time. However, in this case, 1212 needs to provide a little more information. When you were "coached", did they show a video or had a complaint been called in. If there was a Barney's citizen arrest video as evidence, then you are on your on and Big Buck is right. But, if there was what looked to be onboard video evidence, then, 1212 is right about asking "when and how did Saia become the traffic police"?

Or. For honest, hard working men, everyday is good.
Back, in the day, I was hounding Central for weekend work. I think my longest streak, of consecutive work weekends, was 5 or 6. I would miss a week and then right back on the phone. Then, as I got older, my regular paycheck got bigger, my joints got stiffer, and that top step got higher. My enthusiasm, for weekend work, went South faster than my level of testosterone. I understand what Train is saying and I agree with him. I'm roughly the same age as Train and both of us have been long time, honest, hard working, and productive Saia employees. We've earned the right to chirp a little, in anticipation of retirement. I can't speak for Train, but, in my case, I'm just trying to get to the end of the retirement race. Monday is like climbing the hill, while the rest of the week, is all downhill and the weekend is a step closer to the finish line.
Mr White, if you are younger than Train and me, you'll understand , as you get older, your joints get stiffer, and that top step gets higher. If you are our age and still have that up and at'em work attitude, then bless your heart and go get 'em. Train and I will watch the beer cooler.

I can understand your point. But “Mr Train” was, at three years, not a longtime Saia employee. And his hypocritical ranting about the company isn’t “chirping”. Good luck to you, sir, in your final miles. And enjoy your retirement like nothing else.

White just doesn’t like me like many others on here. I wear his and others scorn on here with pride. Someday he will get older and see the things we have. Sure, we know what we signed up for. An honest days work for an honest days pay. But there’s a lot that goes on between that. After 45 years of doing this I’ve just had enough. I’ve dodged a lot of bullets along the way and have truly been blessed to come out of this trucking lifestyle alive. With my health relatively intact and my financial affairs in order. Thankfully my children won’t have to endure the life I had because they chose to stay in college and take a different path. I always wanted more for them. Don’t get me wrong because my life as a trucker has been a good one and it’s an honorable profession. It has enabled me to become debt free and learn the wisdom in staying that way. It’s helped me help my children in their education so they can follow their dreams. So let the young bucks run wild and free because someday they will find themselves getting old and gray just like us.

It was about 5 years but I did my time with CF ... Overnite ... and Vitran. Not that I owe you an explanation.
