SAIA | Traffic Police

I can understand your point. But “Mr Train” was, at three years, not a longtime Saia employee. And his hypocritical ranting about the company isn’t “chirping”. Good luck to you, sir, in your final miles. And enjoy your retirement like nothing else.
Thank You, sir. I'm gonna dance out that gate like I was a regular on Soul Train.

Being an old guy, with stiff joints, dancing or crawling, I'm gone.

Obviously I'm new to this.... How does the camera know what the posted speed is if it "just records during an incident" ?
It has gps made into it and it works off the same speed limit data as your personal gps also it doesn’t recognize truck speed zones it goes by car speed zones hence if you are in a 55 truck 65 car zone it won’t trigger for 71 mph like it would in a 55 for everyone zone

Cameras are GPS enabled. They are setup to turn in 15mph over speed limit. New internationals anything over 70mph
They are also equipped to detect a slow roll or not a complete stop at a stop sign. They will also turn on if they detect a U-turn on a public roadway.

No U-turns is ridiculous. How you supposed to get to deliveries on the other side of the highway? Drive through the damn median?

Wasn't hip to the u turn thing. We'll see if it trips the R&L setup Sling. Last pickup Friday night was a residential in a small town . Found the house but no way out due to low wires. I spun around in the middle of town, no traffic to be seen, to get back out the way I came. We'll see if I get coached .

Those low wires are a violation of the NESC (National Electric Safety Code). Contact the local building inspector or electrical inspector and have them insist on the utility/cable raising the wires according to code (15-1/2 feet minimum).

The power lines are at the top of the pole, so that more than likely wasn’t his problem. I’d say more like telephone and/or cable.

I make u-turns all day long, always have, always will, and I ain’t about to be lectured to on how allegedly “evil” it is by some little millenial **** who ain’t never saw the inside of a truck before.

It’s not the u turn that triggers it it’s how hard you make the u turn it sets off the rollover sensor
