Just think of the savings on loading ramps.

Answer....PTS & HNRY
Yes Agree 100% , HNRY & PTS will be the main players in moving freight , as the freight has to move and we can't hire so they will give it out to other's that can move it with more driver's & Faster Trucks ..........................:guiness:

If there was money in being a large scale broker everyone would be doing it! But now that I think of it this company has always thought they were smarter than all of the others companies so you may be right. Tag axles and 62 mph come to mind while the other companies keep getting richer and we keep getting poorer. You would think one of these days the banks would tell them to get someone in to run the joint properly or they will. I wonder why anyone ships with us? Is it just to save a couple pennies and they don't really care when or what shape the freight gets there? Or is it that we increase these shippers production by doubling the order when we destroy the first shipment and then we pay for it and the consignee pays for the second shipment? Hell the way we handle freight maybe we triple the shippers production?

Other companies are getting richer off us when we give them the purchased transportation! How does Schneider have all these contracts dedicated freight could it be that our former CEO Welch is now on their Board of Directors? Union does nothing keep paying those dues!

You kind of lost me, I get the other companie are making profits from us shipping with them, but what does the union dues have to do with that? Because the union wanted us to vote yes? No one had a gun to our heads, if the only way the company can turn a profit is to have someone else haul our freight we won't be around long enough to worry about it. Tell me one trucking company in the last fifty years who had to have another trucking company haul their freight because they couldn't figure out a way to do it profitably themselves and is still around? I don't know what you are seeing lately but all I'm seeing is messed up terminals trying to survive, it is ugly and getting worse everywhere I go and what I hear everywhere!

The maximum amount of combined PTS and intermodal rail miles shall be limited to 29% (starting with Calendar Year 2019) of YRC Freight's total miles as reported on line 301 of Schedule 300 of the DOT/FMCSA Annual Report during any calendar year. TNFINC IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION MAY LIMIT OR DISCONTINUE THE USE OF PURCHASED TRANSPORTATION IN ANY GEOGRAPHIC AREA WHERE IT DEEMS APPROPRIATE UPON THIRTY (30) DAYS WRITTEN NOTICE TO YRC FREIGHT. 5 I guess YRC can have up to 29% PTS or switch to up to 29% intermodal if they so desire the way i read it. If I'm wrong please correct .
