Yellow | Network Optimization?!

So if plan does not generate capital as planned, move to plan B, where optimization of both plan A and B, could or should generate revenue based on previous years figures, unless severe weather in July forces closure of certain terminals, whereby then plan C would take over both plan A and B, with all synergies contributing possible operational advantages to further enhance revenue sources, not mentioned in plan A,B,Or C.
Did Zollars think this up for them? For a fee of course....
Synergies & moosetits, which we all know yrc ain't worth.:bgroovy:

I guess network optimization is happening at 309 we are rebidding bids cut down to 60% plus more sleepers bids more Akron/Cleveland bids that no one wants bigger extra board love being forced on teams with random people whoever implemented this change of operations without Union approval is a genius!

The Central States formula for bid runs is 60% of loads both ways. That means that there must be a number of bid positions to equal 60% of loaded trailers to and from a primary destination. Chicago Heights has historically over bid. The number of bids can exceed 60% on primaries if the company so chooses. And has nothing to do with a COO.

A lot of Drivers very upset their cutting the Toledo Triples turn bids and Cleveland turn Toledo to bed bids making $80 to $90,000+ with the clock time. Now just going back to a bunch of straight Akron/Cleveland to bed bids no one wants big pay cut not enough miles plus their screwing us with the triples premium pay it's only 3cpm extra not 4cpm. Board is down to 427 drivers with plenty who can retire at anytime.

I didn’t think they COULD implement a change like that without union approval... thought that was part of the whole point of a union to begin with...

The number of bid line haul positions is determined locally. And, in this case, has nothing to with a COO.

If YRCF is not paying the correct mileage rate, then grieve. But remember you only have 45 days on a pay claim.

We're getting screwed at 309 big pay cut going from $1700 to $2200 a week on triples Toledo turn or turn Cleveland to Toledo bed to $1150 to $1600 a week on straight 211/218 triples to bed. Many drivers furious don't want to go backwards pay wise why take it away or at least go back to North Lima? Part of the problem is Chicago shuttle operation is so inefficient they can't get everything to the rail so they have to make road drivers do it.
