FedEx Freight | Very Low Frieght

Well apparently you arent a driver in Charlotte either or just like to lie your butt off. Drivers arent working and they are offering cc days so they can. And we have 15 to 20 drivers sitting in dispatch because the dock doesn't care about loads getting out on time anymore since they lost their bonuses. It is funny that now that the union got voted out you still think everyone believes your lies.
You guys are the best!!

You said he takes a cc day for the good of the team, but you proved my point he lied to these guys on here about freight in Charlotte. Liars like him are as bad as thieves and molesters.
I’m not getting in a pissing contest about who lied. Obviously you haven’t been in the LTL industry very long. It has its ups and downs. Right now it’s a little off from normal. It’s not just here it’s all LTL’s.

I know that, it was pinocchio lying here saying it wasnt bad in Charlotte. He is just an idiot.

All you’ve done was make accusations without providing proof to back up your lies.
How many runs did we have to cover this morning on the am? How many drivers took CC days today? These questions should be easy to answer if you run outta CLT...

CLT city is running within a couple of percent of last year as far as pickups. Last year was a record year. The difference is we hired enough drivers so that guys can take their vacations and personal time now. Also no one in the city is having to work 14 hour days now. The lowest seniority guys may not get all 8 hours driving, but they have the option to work dock to get it just like the rest of us did at first. Quit yer bitchin.

We here at MDW (Midway) in Chicago are dying!!! We haul Econ but we’ve been cutting runs every night?!?!? Does anyone have insight? Are there low levels of freight every where? I’ve been canceled two nights in a row while standing right in front of my dispatcher. This is crazy!!
Think it depends where you are at. Some lanes are screaming right now. Others keep getting cancelled.

I had to go to the railyard on Monday. Monday is the day it takes 30 minutes just to get in because they are so busy. This past Monday? Tumbleweeds blowing through the yard.

Had to do a meet late last week. Our meet point is a truck stop that usually is a huge pain in the ass to get into and find a spot. This time? Hell, they even had spots open at the fuel point.

Don't know what's up. Rail traffic is down (hard evidence, not anecdotal) our Road traffic is down, but I suspect the company is putting a LOT on PT drivers as their rates are in the toilet right now. I had a FXF driver at a huge hub tell me he came into work this past Monday and 30 PT trailers were lined up to get to a door. This would explain, at least in my center, why Road is down but the City is drowning every day.

But then this doesn't explain the lack of traffic at truck stops. Bottom line? I don't know. I just like trying to figure it out :)
