Splash guards.........what are those? Do you mean mud flaps? Couldn’t be as bad as a certain Nevada driver refusing to use his tractor because his stereo won’t work. I remember when we never even had AM radios in the tractors. What the hell is a splash guard? I can’t figure this out. I was under the impression that we can’t put anything extra on the tractors. Are they chrome? TS would go nuts. I figure if I act stupid, I don’t gotta use them. Now those locks are a different story. Are those the ones that croak after one rainstorm? What the heck are pre trips and post trips. Oh, walk around inspections. The only pre trip I do is on my Kubota zero turn before I mow the field. You all have a great night.

I always removed my (splash guards) when not raining, saves on weight, makes your tractor pull better.
As far as not doing a post trip, like washing under the deck, if Billy catches you, it'll be hell to pay!
Think I'll put splash guards on my zero, I can cut grass in the rain, on second thought,umbrella might be better.

Agree entirely, but none of that's ever going to happen, since we all whine and moan but we all stay and don't leave. Since they don't have any issues hiring or retaining, they will not change anything ... ever. They'll just keep throwing us little cost of living bones every year.

Ok... Here is what just walked out of the coh meeting ... Linehaul is a 1.9 cents per mile increase, hourly is 0.90 cent per hour increase, no major changes to health benefits, and we are finally getting a little increase to 401K match being increased to 50 cents on the dollar. All in all not awful, but last couple years sure seems like we should have gotten more : (

That 90 cents an hour is barely beating overall inflation, and is under it in a lot of cases.

Cripes, that's weak.

So, by your logic, any future pay raises are contingent upon a company having layoffs?


Drivers like you, being content with scraps, and barely making financial progress for themselves, is why companies will always barely throw you enough so you will stick around.

But enjoy your basically zero progress raise, and still no OT after 8.

Hahahaha. Everyday is special. Damn get over it. Wake up, kiss your wife or girlfriend, go do your job. Make the best of every day. There’s lot’s of jobs out there, go. Oops........they don’t pay like this one. Be thankful for what you have. Take the raise and reinvest in retirement or savings. Give it to a charity that takes care of our veterans who are getting screwed over by our government. If you don’t like the city, then go to line. Get a side job, quit living like you’re a millionaire, basically get outta debt. Then you can relax and enjoy life.

This will be the third year in a row with the same raise amount! How very sad and pathetic for a company doing as well it has the past decade +!

Some of us depend on Insurance. I would rather them do a hell of alot better on Insurance & Benefits than the normal raise every year.We are paying more & more for Insurance than ever and they want to pride themself on not Increasing Premiums.Our 3 top Competitor's Employees make more than we do and they have better Insurance than we do.Like I said if you want to brag about being the Premier Company then they need to show there Employee's.Just saying !!!
