i'll never forget the time that the late Dick Clark was talking with chubby checker. no one knew chubby's real name and Dick Clark was sworn to secrecy. one time, Dick said he could never mention (but hinted that he might) reveal the real name, and chubby smooshed a cream pie in Dicks face....

i tried finding a video clip of that, and i cannot.

i also cannot remember if it was on some talk show, rather than Dicks american bandstand show.

chubby's real name by the way is.... Ernest Evans...he was nicknamed chubby since he was a kid.
