Yes, Bernie is the only candidate with a solution. But we'd rather vote for the powdered clown. Truck driver logic.

If they can bailout banks, bailout GM, give $150 Billion to Iran, and $38 Billion to Israel they can easily bailout pensions. A little bit of socialism is good in my opinion like Scandinavian countries the super rich can pay some more like getting rid of cap on social security taxes.

You must realize, if we didn't do all the bailouts, we would not have any place to store all that money.

For a minute there when I saw this thread I thought the Teamsters Union was finally going to do the right thing, dissolve the doomed funds, equitably distribute the money to members, 401K's for working members...…….guess not.
Can’t do that without Congress changing MEPRA Pension Laws. Lump Sum Payouts are illegal for the CSPF, and (I think, but not sure?) Pensions in Critical Status.

here’s an idea- pay down the National Debt. Why are we borrowing money and paying interest on it to give it away to other nations and broke programs?
Maybe the government could also use some back office synergies?
Yeah right!!!

Yeah right!!!
There are at least 3 duplicate bureaus for every Federal Program. In the Homeland Defense Agency, some intelligence Gathering Agencies have 17 depts doing the same thing. The only reason for most of them is to keep Government Employees working and in charge. The only difference between YRCW inefficiency and Federal Government inefficiency is the Government can print $$$$$.

The needs of the few billionaires at the top are why they (the billionaires) get tax cuts and we get de-regulation and canceled pensions.

Socialism for the billionaires. Capitalism for the poor.
Oh boy- Invective hurling season- in the Best Marxian Tradition!!!!! Why, Bless your little Heart!!!!! How Absolutely, Quaint.....

Once Invectives start- Solutions can only be days away!:1sm364jumpbed:
