There is a political debate here on taxes, and who fronts the bill. I’ve, and all of us working men, have been fronting the bill for foreign policy for years. Taxes get dispersed regardless. Let’s capture some of our national required taxed base , and keep it at home. You get taxed either way, let’s do what’s right and help the base that kept the taxes rolling in all this time..

The top 20% of earners pay 98% of income taxes. Guess what? Union wages place US in that top 20%. The top 2% pay about 60% of all taxes...

I agree if they can send billions to countries that hate us they could better spend that on American workers and their pensions. However, those billions shouldn’t be spent in the first place because as a country don’t have the money. Scandinavia sounds great until you realize how much the average citizen pays in taxes. And no cap on social security could very well mean an increase in YOUR social security taxes. I’m 39, I don’t believe it’s going to be there when I retire. So I’ve paid into SS all my life and probably won’t get a dime.

I'm talking about how taxes on social security are capped $132,900 for 2019 make those high wage earners pay taxes on their full income easy fix for Social Security it should be fully funded.
