Thank you, Brother......for nominating me for Supreme Leader.....I think I’ll turn down the nomination......as our society has a tendency to........crucify or assasinate.......charismatic leaders.....

And I’m nothing if not Charismatic.......I practically reek of it......

But,.....Back to the Business At Hand.......

I would’ve liked to have seen the bottom of the letter posted above,.....to see if that was Ernie Soehl’s office that had generated it.......I suspect it was,....but I would feel better seeing all the letter....
Anyone else see it posted at any of the terminals that ABF is purportedly having “meetings” to tell employees the........date.....they are going to “defy the Teamsters “?

Anyone else see or hear of ......meetings? I’m not doubting that they’re happening........I’d just like to hear other guys reactions to the ......apparent company Proclamation that ......on a certain date,....they are going to tell Ernie, Jimmy, and Crew......to go stick their Collective Heads......in the Toilet....

Well,.....August 1st came and went,.....Tape still on cameras, I believe. Someone said September 1st is the...."tape removal" day......We'll see.....

But,.....Wouldn't that be.....fitting?..... After all Consolidated Freightways decided to.....spring it on their employees in 2002....
....on the LABOR DAY weekend.....that they were shutting down the UNION side of Menlo Enterprises...with NO warning.

(...I wonder if they had cake'n'ice cream at the Con-Way terminals?...).......

Let's see if ArcBest has decided to continue that Fine Old Corporate Tradition,.....of insulting their employees,..(..and all working people..)...as close to....LABOR DAY as possible......

We celebrate LABOR DAY by removing your Fourth Amendment Right of Privacy! HooRay!

And then they can put out a ....press release....saying that it was merely "coincidental" that the timing was close to LABOR DAY......and that they...."forgot" ...about the significance of the DAY.....

Thereby letting the World know.....how little Corporate America thinks about....the LABOR force on whose sweaty backs,...they became Rich......

Bubba was overboard in his opinion but he did make some good points. I don't believe he was more overboard than several people posting here now. Look at all the posters who are talking conspiracy theories (hint labor day, CF and what what could happen in the next couple of years).

Don’t blame “all the posters”...I am the Cult Leader and Head Conspiracy Monger......no one else but me.....

I didn’t realize My Opinions were Conspiracies....I didn’t realize I was in need of a Life Preserver....being “overboard” and all....

The only “point” Mr. Bubba Gump had.......was one requiring him to wear a ....tall hat......
He doesn’t like Unions, the idea of Unions,...Union members,.....and probably not those sections of the Constitution that keep Big Business from lobbying Congress to make Union membership illegal....

It’s one thing to have a difference of opinion......he would heap scorn and vituperation......if you didn’t agree with his statements....
He tried to shout down opposition with taunts and insults......not facts.....

You don’t have to drop “hints”.......I’ll own any of My Opinions,....and stand by them......

I truly do think that Big Business has lobbied hard to eliminate Collective Bargaining Rights and Defined-Benefit pensions......

If that’s not a......”conspiracy”.......I don’t know what is......
