Is the DMV going to relax the number of penalties brought on by the truckers that do not know the correct procedures of pre/post trip inspections?

as i am interpreting the new proposal, seems that they are just going to allow one to go to another state for the CDL permit and testing testing, like for instance a MA person going to IN at say the Swift school, get the permit there, then the tests. then only from what i can read, get the CDL out of state, then later, return to the home state, and switch over. this might eliminate trying to find a residence for a short time..???

I can see that part. But I have to wonder, why are there not more "schools", so folks don't get caught in that scenario. I'm not a fan of anyone going to a trucking company, to learn how to drive a truck, nor am I a fan of anyone signing a contract, agreeing to work for a specific time. If in fact, there is a driver shortage, it would make sense to me, for a government agency, to step up and make a way for people to obtain the required training, thru smaller, local companies, instead of throwing people that are uneducated, to the perils of the trucking industry. Start them off at the local level, instead of throwing them out on the road, first. Let the driver make the choice of going OTR, rather than OTR being the only choice.

makes sense since these young Dim/Half/Nit wit "drivers" need more allowances to perform their incompetent maneuvers and PROVE Trucking is too challenging for the GROWING POPULATION of Dim/Half/Nit wits.
These are the people that will take over the reins of the sleigh to where the populace is headed..............end of line
