FedEx Freight | Smoking In The Trucks

There is a reason I made sure to disclose an allergy to tobacco smoke when FedEx sent me for a physical last...

So is the policy still no smoking ?
I've got a bid tractor and cant keep people from smoking in it, been to scm, says I got to catch him in the act, wtf, so if you wanna smoke in fedex equipment move to seattle, all the senior drivers do, according to them they're grandfathered in. What's F'd up if you dont smoke , to bad for you, dont like it go somewhere else
Same exact problem here at xpo

I've seen smoking in the trucks in the yard pulling placards. Blows my mind. Some drivers are able to smoke in their truck and you'll never know.

According to FMCSA, it depends on the placards... Of course FedEx policy is no smoking in the cab, period.

What if it’s the rear pup? Technically your more than 25 feet away. Thought of that after reading these posts....The other night I saw a guy hauling a fuel tanker throw a cigarette out the window. Now that’s plain stupid.
