If anything, "good guy with a gun" stopping/preventing further criminal activity would be among the most under-reported occurrences. Few will bother reporting if NO SHOTS are fired. Problem solved.
Still, there is lots of misinformation. Sticking with the agreed facts, MOST firearm deaths are *******. Not much any law will do to stop *******. Also, the highest rates of actual gun crimes exist in cities with the most strict gun laws.
Another fun fact, the long ago expired assault (style) rifle ban had no effect on gun deaths. More people are killed annually with knives than assault rifles.
