It is a serious misconception that Democrats do not support border security. The 9/11 hijackers arrived on Visa's and never went home. They did not crawl across a desert to get here. 90% of the illegal drugs that enter this country arrive by air or sea or through established checkpoints at the southern border. No one is carrying a 100 lb bale of weed through the desert and across a river. The worst addictive and most dangerous drugs today are manufactured right here in the USA legally. The "other" worst drug, Fentanyl , comes into your mailbox, directly from China. I have yet to hear any Democrat advocate for open borders.

Well I guess you haven’t watched any of the debates among the candidates for president... every single one of them raised their hands when they were asked if they wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings, or at least give illegals free insurance. Tell me how this isn’t an open borders policy?

Well-said, woodz! That ‘corruption’ narrative is getting old. Good God, you’d think some of these poster’s are stuck in 1968. Same thing with the CSPF...always bashing that fund and using it as the bellwether for all the other funds. There’s more crooks on Wall Street nowadays than there ever was in the Teamsters Union.

The problem is most everyone would fall under CSPF! And if you think the union would allow any new company they organized to get out of propping up CSPF then you’re dreaming. Just because other funds are doing well doesn’t help a soul who would be stuck in CSPF.

No one from a new company is going to agree into getting into The CSPF multi employer plan . I know that and you know that. Even if it were legally permitted no company or it employees would even ratify such an agreement. Completely false .

Either your misinformed which I give you the benefit of the doubt or your purposely propagating false info.

There you go again with you less than truthful statements although it's been mentioned more than once that the CSPF isn't accepting ANY new companies you still continue to spew your same old tales. If you're anti union fine no problem but at least be honest.

Persuader talk. A little it of it goes a long way these days. Never thought I live to see the day where such dishonesty would become the rule and the masses would by into it . Now more than ever I can see what it was like to be in pre war Germany. What’s old is new. God save us.
Hate has clouded our better senses.

You're right, I haven't watched the debates. There's no point, with so many people still in the running. When the herd thins out, I'll play closer attention. I have to admit that I cringed just a bit when some one told me all those hands went up on free medical care for undocumented immigrants. I believe that they are all trying to "Out Progressive" each other and that position will mellow as the field shrinks. This is politics. Conservatives now want to restrict legal immigration and Liberals say everyone gets in. In the past, they would debate this issue on the House and Senate floors and would negotiate to a reasonable a rational immigration policy. That was then, this is now. I am certain that free medical care for immigrants will NOT make the 2020 Democratic Platform.

They have us at each others throats over immigration which really need not be an issue. Reasonable people could easily get together and formulate a reasonable immigration policy. We had one...once, as I described in a previous post. . If we had a reasonable immigration policy, they wouldn't have to commit a crime to get here. Unemployment is at 3.7%. That's considered FULL employment by the Department of Labor. Undocumented immigrants are working jobs that could not possibly be filled if they were deported. So, since we need them, lets make everybody happy. Give them work visas, pay them a fair wage and collect all appropriate taxes from their wages. It's a win-win. They spend their wages in our economy, creating additional demand for goods and services. Companies that provide goods and services now have to hire more people to produce those goods and services. Those new hires, now go out and spend their money on more goods and services...and the wheel goes round again. That's how you create a vibrant economy. Not, tax breaks for the rich. They don't spend those billions in our economy. Their billions go to stock buy backs and Cayman Islands bank accounts, thereby stifling our economy. We are a consumer based economy. That's how it works.

Without the immigrants who would they blame ? Facing who really keeps them down takes effort and courage it’s easy a convenient to scapegoat.
Illegal immigration is a problem but it’s not the reason for the demise of the middle class and the problems we as working men and women face. Don’t let those who have more deceitful agenda mislead you.

Completely wrong!!! Nowhere in any XPO negotiation is the CSPF even being considered. They'll need help from Congress with the Butch Lewis Act, if they can save the pensions.

In reality a Republican senate will never allow it. To much pressure from big business to let it fail and use it as a talking point against unions and pensions . I wish it were different but that’s the cold reality in this political climate.

There are some ‘eastern’ states in the Western Conference...I think Florida? Not quite sure which others are in.

Precisely. The filthy rich, for the most part, may not spend as much here as they would (do?) in a foreign economy. What we’re seeing now is just trickle-down economics reinvented. “Give the rich even MORE money (through insane tax cuts), and it will trickle down to the middle class and beyond.” Who was it that coined the phrase ‘Voodoo Economics’ when Ronnie was selling us this bag of crap? Indeed it DIDN’T trickle down back then, and it sure as hell isn’t now. Greed is the root of all evil.

That was Papa Bush.

You sure you want to stand by your statement that there is no longer corruption in the teamsters?

You forgot about his buddy Better make sure we let everyone know that he is a Democrat that is out to support the middle-class while taking pay and bennies from the union for doing nothing

Cullerton, 49, of Villa Park, faces 41 counts in a federal indictment alleging he illegally got about $188,000 in salary and other pay, and $64,000 in health and pension contributions.

When the season was over, they went home to their families and everyone was happy.
So now the problem is they are not going home.
It's estimated there are 11 million undocumented immigrants working in this country right now. Deport them all
Yes
It seems however, that corporate pigs aren't opposed to it at all.
It also seems that the Democrat pigs aren't opposed to it either. Hell they want to give the free healthcare and welfare all paid for by the tax payer

I have compassion, just not not for criminals. Make no doubt about it there is not a job in America that could not be filled if all of the cheap labor went away, it would just cost more.
They need to look at it as if it was there house. Lets say I my wife and 4 kids come to his house kick in the door and start living there. I just working hard to support my family. He would call the police and want all of us removed and arrested. Now what would he say if the cops told him there was nothing they could do to remove us. I sure he would be bitching up a storm.
