Same thing with the CSPF
They'll need help from Congress with the Butch Lewis Act, if they can save the pensions.
We have every right to bring up the CSPF anytime we want. Ever since the union has crawled it way to congress to help bail out this fund. They now want the taxpayers to bail them out.
Someone please show me in the last 2 contracts negotiation, one with YRCW and the other with ArcBest, were the members of the union told the company to take a percentage like 40 or 50% of any pay raise and put it towards there pension?? It seems that the union is fine with letting ABF freeze there pension contribution and letting YRCW put in less they required. I believe that since the Teamster and union member are not concerned with there pension fund why should the govt. Why bail them out just let it die.

They spend their wages in our economy, creating additional demand for goods and services. Companies that provide goods and services now have to hire more people to produce those goods and services. Those new hires, now go out and spend their money on more goods and services...and the wheel goes round again.
WOW in a way you explained trickle down.
You all seem to hate the rich so someone show a poor man that gave you a job. I all your eyes any business owner is evil they are rich and evil and ship all there money over seas.

Well I guess you haven’t watched any of the debates among the candidates for president... every single one of them raised their hands when they were asked if they wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings, or at least give illegals free insurance. Tell me how this isn’t an open borders policy?
They don't play those clip on CNN, MSNBC

No one from a new company is going to agree into getting into The CSPF multi employer plan . I know that and you know that. Even if it were legally permitted no company or it employees would even ratify such an agreement. Completely false .

Either your misinformed which I give you the benefit of the doubt or your purposely propagating false info.

So the union is going to let CSPF fail when they can push new blood into it and help fix the mess? Yeah right...

Two kinds of people in this world , the players and the played . Takes time in life and experience to find which one you are.

Simple. The union writes in the contract where the newly represented members go. You think they’re not going to try that? Dream on. They have a mess with CSPF and wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to fix their mess.
Explain how they can bypass the legal parameters of that . Also who in their right mind would agree to such a contract even if it were possible. No one.
I’m not sure what your agenda is but Sir your just flat out wrong on this.

They can negotiate anything they want. What’s illegal about that? And when the contract is presented what happens if they do toss everyone into the current funds? Vote it down? Kill the whole momentum of the organizing movement? I doubt it. Tell me, has there been any movement within the XPO terminals that voted representation in? My point is the union doesn’t give a damn about its members, current or prospective. They’ve sold their current members down the river for years. What makes you think they would act any different to the new ones?

Who writes the contract? The members are represented at the bargaining table and are present how are they going to stick that clause in ? Let’s suppose they did for your sake putting aside all the illegal aspects of doing so . How would they get the membership to ratify it? Let’s not forget the company side . If you think for a minute a company not going to call that and ever agree to that I got a time share I like to sell you.

Because it’s not just a “fund”; it’s people who are counting on money they earned. unc Sam needs to be involved because they are partly to blame in how they regulated the fund limiting its ability to grow.
Problem is that every time after that a pension fund has problems it will be expected to get bailed out

Thanks for this post! I sure as hell have never been given a job by a poor man. I know a bunch of wealthy (rich) people that aren’t evil.

So now the problem is they are not going home.

Yes

It also seems that the Democrat pigs aren't opposed to it either. Hell they want to give the free healthcare and welfare all paid for by the tax payer

There is no "free" welfare for undocumented workers. They cannot receive a single dime from ANY social program...ever. They have to work to live...and they do. On top of that, they pay social security taxes, Medicare taxes, federal, state and city taxes. Because they are "illegal", they will NEVER be eligible to receive the Social Security and Medicare benefits they have paid into all their working lives. So, next time you see an "illegal", be sure to thank him for contributing to your social security and Medicare fund.

You forgot about his buddy Better make sure we let everyone know that he is a Democrat that is out to support the middle-class while taking pay and bennies from the union for doing nothing

Cullerton, 49, of Villa Park, faces 41 counts in a federal indictment alleging he illegally got about $188,000 in salary and other pay, and $64,000 in health and pension contributions.

Great, now you've uncovered TWO. Keep looking!
