Been all downhill since he left. Not that they were doing that good when he was there. But when he pitched they usually won a game. At least. Sad.
Did. They get off. That 30.hump?TIGERS WIN!!! TIGERS WIN!!!
Being a Mets fan I believe they will be sellers..Only reason I still watch every game is the rookie Alonzo and Jeff McNeil ..
Guess I was wrong on them being sellers.. They still have a chance.. Should be an interesting series this week with Cleveland..But they have played very well at home.. And what can you say about Alonzo?? After winning the Home Run Derby he goes on and sets a new National league Rookie home run record with 39 games to go.. .. Remember what they say in New York.. "Ya gotta believe"
I didn't look at the link.
Plus they beat Verlander when will we the hit the 40 mark????I didn't look at the link.
But ya. Astros must have felt sorry for em.
1-0?
Screw you, New York. I don't care if you are only the Mets.
I guess Cleveland was glad to get back on the plane and go home..You know, get out of New York..

The Mets technically are a "fringe postseason team," since they are 1.5 games back of the second Wild Card spot.
But the tweet could've been taken as a bit of a swipe at the Mets, and two of their players hit back at Cleveland after New York wrapped up their three-game sweep on Thursday night.
"We got some FRINGE for you right here, we call it a SWEEP in NYC. #LFGM," Noah Syndergaardtweeted while quote tweeting the Indians' original "fringe playoff team" tweet. ""
