Lots of wisdom right there. Too much to get into right now, but lack of respect, lack of consequences, and lack of personal responsibility all contribute. It all comes down to education (or lack thereof), both at home and in schools.
I disagree. These days it’s pretty simple. You place the blame elsewhere. Maybe it’s poverty. Maybe it’s healthcare. Possibly Trump. But it sure as hell isn’t my fault I’m a lawless POS.

Gun propaganda?! Why is there even a discussion about this? You either value and respect the constitution or you don’t. Gun ownership isn’t for the sole purpose of protecting ones family. The founders included that amendment to protect from a tyrannical and oppressive government. Do you know why we aren’t still ruled by Britain? Superior firepower. The guns the colonists used had a longer range and more accuracy than the redcoats. The founders feared another oppressive government ( either internal or external) ruling us and so provisioned every citizen with right to own and bear arms. To change this you libs are going to have to change the constitution.
The other argument that people use to demagogue gun ownership is “we have to do something about all these shootings”. I agree. What has changed in our society to cause people to have no respect for the value of human life? We never heard of this happening 50 years ago on the scale it is now. It is my opinion that as our culture becomes more godless we will see more senseless loss of life. Fathers have abdicated their God-given responsibility to train up their children To respect others and value their lives as you would your own. There are more aspects of this to explore, but I have work to do

If you think you're going to amend the Bill of Rights and the government is going to stop at the second amendment, you're sadly mistaking. It sets a precedent allowing the government to pass laws that infringe on our rights, be it first, second or eighth.

As election season heats up, unions are making hay by grabbing short-term employees from several Democratic Party hopefuls.

https://lrionline.com/labor-relations-ink-august-2019/

"The campaign teams of Cory Booker and Julián Castro became the latest to unionize, following those of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. The Teamsters picked off the Booker staff, while the Campaign Workers Guild grabbed the Castro group. All is not peaches and cream for the unionized workers though, as an Unfair Labor Practice has been filed against the Sanders campaign."

Oregon paid leave law 1st in US to fully cover lowest wages

https://www.ktvz.com/news/oregon-paid-leave-law-1st-in-us-to-fully-cover-lowest-wages/1107709855

"The law (House Bill 2005), which will pay out benefits beginning in 2023, gives 12 weeks paid time off to new parents, victims of domestic violence and those who become ill or need to care for a sick family member. It also includes people who may be in the country illegally and those working part-time. Residents need to earn $1,000 a year to qualify."

We simply must ensure people remain dependent on Government. <insert sarcasm> Guess who will actually pay...

Come to think of it, I might have been a victim of domestic violence, which would be hard to disprove. Add the benefit for illegal immigrants, what could possibly go wrong?

FMCSA Releases Payment Options for Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

https://www.ttnews.com/articles/fmcsa-releases-payment-options-drug-and-alcohol-clearinghouse

"FMCSA on Aug. 20 presented two pricing options for query plans. The individual query plan charges a flat rate of $1.25 per query, which will be applied to both limited and full queries. The unlimited query plan charges an annual fee of $24,500. All employers of CDL drivers are required to buy a plan, which will be available for purchase this fall."

Sounds a lot like double taxation. Required to do it, AND required to pay. Another tax disguised as a fee. Yay...

That dream job? Maybe. Maybe not.

"For many truck drivers, moving NASCAR cars around the country sounds like a dream come true..."

“The guys out there that are running freight, this country needs them. They always tell us we have a great job, but driving our trucks is only about 10 percent of our job,” Robbins said. “It is not all glory and glam. We’re basically the roadies of NASCAR.”

And somewhere down the line the cost of this will be coming out of the drivers pocket.
