Does anyone know why he is connected or if he is to SAIA Corporation LTL Truckload and Logistics also ? View HTML yrc worldwide . Can this be true ! is it because SAIA is None Union ? This is Information on the internet BUT is it TRUE ?

In about 1990, Preston bought Saia. That debt deflected money from maintaining Preston equipment to paying the debt of buying Saia. With bad equipment, and high cost debt, Preston lost customers, and should have gone bankrupt, in 1993. Instead, Yellow Corp bought Preston Corp on Thanksgiving weekend, 1993. They split off Saia and Jevic, put Preston on wage concessions, and remortgaged all the cost of the deal back on Preston. In 98, Preston was “sold” to 3 Yellow VPs, and declared “Debt Free” (while Yellow still controlling Preston’s Richfield, Oh Super Terminal, and 600 new trailers). The NMFA at the time stated that if Preston shut down within a year, all employees of both companies would dovetail seniority. Conveniently- Preston closed 14 months later, and Yellow Corp took over the Richfield Terminal and all of the 600 new trailers.

I have to believe, Yellow VPs were put on the Saia Board of Directors in the Spin-off, same as Preston got Leo Suggs, and later three VPs.

They closed 11 years ago.You are probably right.
I'm will aware of them closing Jevic , my point was is Mr trucksess still on the board of YRC . And if so the investors may need to know from YRC. Or are you aloud to start up a company with funds from another company was my point ? IF this is true what could be done ? is it a way to break UNIONS ? Stocks are down at YRC because of this maybe .

You can thank PIE for Leo.

I have to believe there are many companies across many spheres, where the same people are on different Boards of Directors. There's no conspiracy.

look at our saving grace, welch, before returning to save yrc, he was on roadrunner board as independant director, npme got idiots from roadrunner to run them 5 years ago, ex yellow people...go figure how that came about...now welch a director at schneider pres. of roadrunner ltl at the time was ex yellow...now he pres at dicom...about year after npme pres from roadrunner took over, he got rid of speedy, our Canada carrier and went with dicom...talk about conspiracy...or is it all about kickbacks!!!

It has been rumored that the CEO of Estes is on the board at YRC. Estes owns many of the YRC yards outright and YRC leases them back from Estes.

Board members of any publicly traded corporation are openly disclosed in SEC documents. No need for rumor.

PS - Robert Estes is not on the YRCW Board of Directors, you can check for yourself.

I’m not in any way bagging on Trip, but all BS aside, I’d like his take on the next 6 months. Stock is down almost 75% in the last year. Please shoot us your thoughts on the next 12-18 months. I send this respectfully, so please send it back
