R&L | New Liftgate Trailers...

I've got one with the all aluminum Maxon. Love it! Fast up and down . Good non skid surface starts level and stays level till it hits the ground, then rotates down a little to put lip on the ground. Light to fold up. No hinges on topside when extended so you can cheat an oversized skid over the side without getting hung up. All around way better than the POS gates we used to have. My barn has actually cut some junk gates off decent older liftgate trailers and put new ones on

I too like mine. I have LE1861.
Some of the low number LE trailers had gates I didn't like much. They were part steel and the fold out part was aluminum. They had the solid step made out of angle iron on the passenger side . The good ones started around the LE1*** series or maybe LE08** series with the lower step mounted on the cables. Love the lights in them. Have you guys seen the new Peterbilt conventional straight trucks with the lift axle?

The Thieman liftgates. They hurt after 9 liftgate deliveries inna day.

Them newfangled Penisbilt straight trucks turn like a aircraft carrier, so be prepared for that.

Man, quit making it sound so glamorous. Everyone around Elgin will want to drive for you guys and do all liftgate deliveries.

We don't do all liftgate deliveries but when we need the right equipment for the job, we have it at our disposal. I actually hardly use my lift anymore, maybe 1 time a week if that with my route but Im glad its there if I need it.

Yea, mine is the newer all aluminum one. My last trailer was LEO945, that had the steel/aluminum combo.
