Yellow | How About Them New Dollies?

Not bragging.
But I had to count jiffs at the beginning of my shift.
One day I had 22.
I hooked 22 sets in an 8 hour shift along with setting the dock.
The jiff area was empty when I left
Ahhh.... To be 40 years old again....
I was the only hostler on the day shift.
That day flew by.

I'll say you earned your pay!

Piece of cake, what's the problem?? :lmao: :hilarious: :hysterical:
We had no fancy handle to slide 5th wheel, besides, you had to be a weight lifter to pick up the tongue.
About 1/4 of our board was on workmans comp. at one time.
I made as much on delay time waiting on help as I did driving, and I call someone a wuss?

You didn’t have to pick the jiffs up like you will the new dollies and you could use the brakes to slide the 5th wheel. How can a road driver pick these new ones up when they can’t hardly walk to the truck. Due to workman’s comp they only ordering 10.

I can see, you never hooked a PIE jiff, you can also slide 5th wheel on the ground with the brakes.
