I noticed a set go past me in the Midwest with "now hiring" on the skirts. Had northeast states pictured. ( New England and New York ) if I remember correctly.
Could be part of a payment to keep Train from coming back.

Google maps is great and the information is out there so it is not secret type stuff. You can keep input Saia, then the town and state, and you will see the spread pattern of the NorthEast invasion. Just a few weeks ago,Saia hosted a hiring event in Albany, New York. I have no doubt that Maine is going to see a Saia terminal along that I-95 corridor.Rapidly creating a large footprint in the northeast
the bought my old Vitran terminal in erie and really overhauled it...all new doors..new roof..all new office interiors and bathroomsI heard they were putting heat and AC on the new Indy terminal. Is that true? Impressive if so.
Think Saia is taking over the New Penn term soon to be vacantGoogle maps is great and the information is out there so it is not secret type stuff. You can keep input Saia, then the town and state, and you will see the spread pattern of the NorthEast invasion. All I can suggest to you is to get in on the ground floor.
They are taking the NEMF terminal in Colonie, that was one of many they leased ( The NEMF family still owns them)Think Saia is taking over the New Penn term soon to be vacant
Aka Preston terminal on 10th streetthe bought my old Vitran terminal in erie and really overhauled it...all new doors..new roof..all new office interiors and bathrooms
I would say no. Rick O’dell the CEO has said he wanted to grow on his own (organically) and not take on that big of debt. Having said that he has also said he would consider a buyout under the right conditions. He doesn’t want to make the same mistake his father-in-law Bill Zollars did. He’s as bright as they come and is very cautious in buyouts.I use to work at Saia and a buddy of mine that still works there told me there's a rumor Saia has made a offer to buy a competitor. Any truth in that?

I went by it this morning. Full of equipment and yes- its Huge!Looks like all the walls are all up and it seems like it’s a 24/7 operation to get it built. I work next door and there’s cement trucks in and out of there all night. That terminal looks like it’s gonna be huge, I’d guess 300 or more doors.
