yrc has been a sinking ship cause they protect the wrong people and punish the wrong people, from top to bottom
i work NON union now and i have yet been called a racial slur, i have been told i have a impeccable work ethic, i was a 3rd generation teamster but hey you let me be called n word by a "real protected teamster cause his brother is a shop steward BUT paid the same union dues" so yeah be glad i did not file a eeoc lawsuit cause there are other teamster dues paying members who heard him say it to me in the break room, now count your blessings cause others will not be so easy when they are called racial slurs, i even called teamsters in dc, they did nothing about my case, not even bat an eye, its like they want former employees to file eeoc lawsuits, remember chicago? what was that 10 million or so? gee they want a repeat of that? what the hell are they thinking?
maybe you guys can start FIRING people who use racial slurs at work or at least have a talk with them cause it upset me to the point where well, lets just say it was my last straw, now you guys can hang onto that straw now cause thats all you got left, i gave it to you to hold cause that is all any reasonable man will give to a despot organization fully of cronyism fraud deception and dishonest individuals who feed on the impeccable people like myself
: makes any difference. It's all nonsense. But I would suppose it's true at any large company. Not just yrc. Any working environment wod get old after decades. Some people like it. I wasn't one of those especially when they merged. Nothing changed in how they did things. Not in the dock.
