It's National Driver Appreciation Week. Employee Appreciation Week in FedEx terms.

Locally it's donuts Monday, Box lunches Wed. Ice Cream on Fri.

What's going on at your Center? TELL US ALL ABOUT IT...
 
At Coop Dispatch;
Monday- drivers bring big Dave Capriotti’s.
Tuesday- drivers wash Dave’s Coop,company Lexus
Wednesday- drivers steam clean the Hat.
Thursday- driver training on boardwalks in Atlantic City, with lunch served from Patel’s food cart.
Friday- Wong will be on hand at Cedar Rapids all day grilling Spam burgers.
 
Older generation:
Youngsters these days are so needy. All they do is want, want, and want. You always have to give them something!!

Older generation at work:
Where are my cookies?!! I demand them.

Man, it's a Company (and industry) event. Certainly a good measure of what your Center leadership thinks of their people.

And don't forget the Company wants to celebrate, in some way. It's up to the Manager to get it done.
 
Doughnuts, boxed lunches :scratchhead:, they gave the winner of the FedEx Cup $15M....I’ll gladly accept a brand new set of Callaway Apex 19 Irons!! :funky:

THAT shows weak leadership. I'd love to hear the justification for NOT participating in the Company directed event. I'm sure there is one guy, who'll be along shortly to tell us why it's "no big deal".

Funny that we don't see anything about some locations within a fleet doing ZERO, while others participate admirably. :scratchhead:

Reading some of the companies giveaways in the article; theme park tickets, haircuts, water park passes, t shirts, back packs, a set of tires for your car? Appreciate your help by getting rid of all the money spent on advertising in magazines, the internet, radio. Get rid of their recruiters, and CDL farm training programs. And give all that money to your drivers every year as a cash bonus.
