Does anyone out there have any concrete facts about the outcome of the COO meetings this past week? (Besides the company pretty much getting its way?)

Our local isn't real good at getting the details out to the members!

Just curious.............

Did anyone hear the final #'s for the change?

We're getting hit the hardest and really haven't heard anything, except there's going to be barn meetings at the hall fri at 6pm, and sat/sun 10am

Numbers stayed pretty much the same, the mechanics changed a bit from what the BA said......

Yea, I think it was 8 mechanics instead of 9, and Hagarstown will take 4, but the 4 can come from anywhere. And you don't need a cdl to transfer to HGR. Alot of us thought that they could have put something out over the weekend or give us stewards a call, and say what's up. I know now 2 of them went to myrtle beach, for biz, so guess it's back to a waiting game. The other thing that bothers me is the sign up sheet comes out thurs the 25th but the union isn't talking to the 26th at 6pm, it would be nice to have a heads up, especially since I'm sure they know, and the new "RUMOR" that the reason their not talking is cause the numbers are higher. I know the asst. term manager said yesterdays about eliminaring as much as possible, here.

If one were to read that article from traffic world magazine thats been referred to in previous posts, one could gather that the drift is toward a NATIONAL, and a REGIONAL system. In a few of the meetings, the TM said that HGR will be mainly a 2 and 3 day lane facility and LCP will continue to handle all of the 3 and 4 day shipments. Think about the amount of rail freight that moves through LCP. I can produce stacks of rail sheets that attest to that fact.
