Do the numbers that are on the trailer and tractor have any meaning ? city trailer or road trailer or single axle or twin screw ? Just curious.

Sometimes.............................. start with the color of the truck if O&B or Blue first digit =8 single axle =7 tandem axle LH uint Second digit is the year. 1 P&D tractor(very few left) 2= retired line haul(probably downgraded pre 2009 or shortly thereafter) Currently P&D units are numbered as 6xxxx some being used as regional LH. LH tractors start with a 1 for single and it appears 7 for Tandem.
P&D Trailers 820xxx are 40' good luck finding a decent one 830xxx 45' see 820, 843xxx 48' 89xxx and 73xxxx lift gate trailers various lengths ......................
Yea like everything else it's a real cluster f.................................they start doing things one way and next year change to a different way seems over the last couple years only the pup numbering has been constant buy a pup new or used and it gets the next number available...........

I hope they start tractor numbering all over again. I want to get to drive tractor number 1 before I retire for good!
‘Goof Off’ multi purpose cleaner is great for removing glue residue. If they do not accommodate your wish, a little scraping and elbow grease might leave your final ride with the number “1.”

Actually oven cleaner took off the commercial lettering on the doors of the used Ford Ranger I bought some years ago.
Yes. The new ones have the numbers on the mirrors. And on back of sun visors....
It’s also a great pretreatment for engine cleaning. The real crusty stuff.

If you add the 3rd & 5th number then take the sum total, 6 to the 9th power, divide that by 0, & you shall have the date of birth, sex, & which way it votes in the next election. And last but not least, which LGBT branch of the tree it swings from. Hope this is help full. von.
