Holland | No More Holland Executives

Makes sense to stop having so many executives , this will be a big cost savings & after merging terminals together you will need 15% less terminal managers & office people , so thinking at least 15% cost savings in 4th Qrt $$$

Anyone get all the details?Just heard they are combining executive positions to YRCW.
I think we'll be one company before the end of the contract.
Details are simple, yellow kills everything it touches. Their doing it to New Penn now, First the execs, then the admin jobs and once everything is being run through their administrative office they take the freight. Which leads to lay offs and when enough people have moved on after being laid off they merge the company into yellow and it is gone.

Yep , meeting today , no more 4 company presidents or 4 vice presidents or other duplicate management , it should be good cost savings $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

And I hear all trucks from now on will have the same mirrors, and sun visors, so they will interchange... Synergy savings!

YRC is already taking freight. As of November New Penn will no longer service Maine. YRC is taking the work

First I’ve heard of that.
A friend of mine that does l/h for NP told me that.He is in their Billerica yard often. The l/h guys that bring the loads to remote p&d drivers in Saco and Augusta will have their night end in Billerica. Heard that the remote p&d drivers will be dovetailed into the YRC local barns

I agree, too many drivers and dock workers as well. Combine them to become profitable too.
After all it is about making $$$$$
