I heard that under Bernie Sanders Medicare for All plan, he would force companies to pay to employees salary what they were paying towards healthcare plans. That would be a huge pay increase.

Why can't they bring back company paid health insurance like my grandfather had when he retired from Illinois Bell in 1984? Had around $5000 a month with pension and social security back in the 80s you would be lucky to get close to that amount now. Used to be common benefits pensions and paid health insurance everyone forgets how good it used to be someone in a crystal palace decided working people can't have it this good. Sad part is the Unions go along with it nothing but concessions all industries. I agree with Bernie on some issues believe a little bit on socialism good for society especially with some companies bringing in Billions in profits while some of their workers on welfare government should step in you are going to pay these people more we are not subsidizing your workforce.

If insurance says no to an operation, you get to appeal, twice. Then you can appeal it to the State Insurance board. Then, if it’s still denied, you can do what I did, and remortgage the house and pay it yourself. (I did that).
If Government says no to an operation under Medicare for all- the answer is No. no operation, period. You’re not getting it, even if you pay it yourself. You might get a pain pill, but kiss your butt goodbye....

We can vote government officials out of office. We can't vote the over lords at United Healthcare out of office. The United States is a democracy. United Healthcare is a dictatorship. You can go down to your senator's office and complain. You try going down to the CEO office at United Healthcare's headquarters and complaining and you go to jail.
The USA has Never been a Democracy. A Democracy is two lions and a lamb voting on what to eat for dinner.
We are a Constitutional Representative Republic.
United healthcare has competitors, The United States Government don't.
You want a little glimpse of what Medicare for all will be like go visit your local Social Security office. Bring your lunch, it's an all day affair.
The Left will stop talking about free lunches when the Right stops talking about free markets.
There is no such thing as a free market.
Government is not a business.
